About DJ Sound Productions
Started in the late 90’s, DJ Sound Productions & Entertainment, LLC was formed as requests for our unique style and approach to weddings was discovered. It remained a Sole-Prop company for many years. As clients increasingly sought our services and our client base grew year after year since then, DJ Sound moved to an LLC entity in 2022. This allowed us to provide our clients with an even better, more established company asserting our position among others that are of the same caliber. It also allowed us to better insurance coverage as well as protections for our clients, protecting our integrity, name, our services, and builds trust in a company that’s registered in the state of MN. Our innovative and evolving business structure is copied by virtually all others over the years and we needed to make sure that our award-winning services could be protected, and that our clients know that what they are getting is of value, unique, and as we promised.
We are simply the BEST DJ service in Minneapolis and the state of Minnesota. Why? Because we strive not to make every Bride & Groom, just another customer but to make sure that you are treated as individuals and make sure your wedding is as individualistic as you are. We don’t try and book every wedding we can in hopes that we get a huge volume of Brides and Grooms. We keep our bookings limited to the number of DJs that we have. We do this so that we have the time, attention, and respect you deserve for your wedding. We tailor each individual wedding to the Bride & Groom and their tastes and styles. We are also a FULLY INSURED and licensed DJ company in the state of Minnesota via the Firemans Fund Insurance through the American DJ Association.
Locations We Serve
We service all of the state of Minnesota, western Wisconsin and the eastern Dakotas for all DJ services. As far as venues go, we’ve been to hundreds in and around the state and been to most of the specific wedding venues the state has to offer. We keep detailed notes on all venues so we know first hand what it takes at each venue to ensure that your wedding reception goes incredibly smooth. We know the contact person(s), we know their regulations, their staff, and most of all, we work amazingly well with EVERY Venue we’ve been at. There isn’t a location, indoor or outdoor, or venue that we can’t serve!
Company History
DJ Sound Productions was started in the late 90’s by it’s founder DJ Cru. As the years passed and experiences came and left, he was able to develop a business model that derived from customer opinion, industry reports and opinion, as well as listening to new Brides & Grooms as to what their dreams were for their wedding. Over the years, he’s been able to develop a personal touch for each wedding that DJ Sound is a part of. This means putting in the time to make sure that each Ceremony is spot on, that each reception dance is exactly as perfect as the Brides dreams, and that family and friends have an experience that no other DJ company can top.

Our staff is the pride of the company. No planning form, no advanced software, nothing can prepare you for exactly what’s going to happen on the day of your wedding. This is where our amazing talented staff of DJs come in. They execute a perfect wedding dance every time. They are the backbone that puts it all together then makes it all happen flawlessly. These DJs pour their heart and soul into each and every wedding they do. Why? Because they know that almost every Bride has dreamt of this day since they were a child and knowing that, what DJ doesn’t want to make dreams come true! These guys make it happen!
